Kuantan Updates
Salam people! ^^
Our trip to Kuantan in December is confirmed, but there are a few details we still need to work out and I'd appreciate it if you guys can fill me in on a few things later on. But before that, here's a look at what our budget should look like for the three days.
Accommodation:
Yati and I have paid deposit for the accommodation at Lembing Riverview Resort, so that should leave RM270 to split between 6 people - Pojan, Ann, Mun, Sitot, Arshana & Safura - once we get there. That means RM45 per person for both nights.
Food:
We estimate food to be approximately RM30 a day (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Dinner at Sara Thai should be around RM50 per person, since Yati estimated around RM100 per 5 people (rice and 4 side dishes) the last time she had dinner there. So food for all three days should come to circa RM130.
Transportation:
From the south there will be two cars: my Alza, and Yati's Kancil. South group includes me, Yati, Arshana, Mun, Sitot and Safura. My car will carry 4 people plus everyone's luggage, Yati's car will carry 2 people or at most 3. Because we're travelling on Christmas weekend, heavy traffic is not expected but anticipated. So the earlier we get moving on the 21st, the better.
East group should be no problem since Friday is the weekend, right? :)

Wey, jom gi cuti!
Salam and good afternoon my peeps! ^^
As you all know, we attempt to make a BTB gathering at least annually. And since we have now come to October, there is very little time left to hold a gathering for this year.
So, sempena kepulangan Shana Disember nanti, dan bagi meraikan Ann yang baru saja grad, also Kak Opie/Mun/Pojan yang harap-harapnya dah submit thesis by then, BTB is planing to hold a 3-day get together in Kuantan, Pahang.
Kenapa Kuantan? sebab this is a good meeting place between the South group (Kak Opie, Yati, Sitot, Mun, Arshana & Luppi) and the North group (Ann, Nurul, Isma & Pojan). Besides, all of us hold Kuantan as somewhat of a special place, no? and it would be nice to go back and reminisce old memories.. and maybe make new ones ^^
Anyway, our get together itinerary is as follows. Everyone, please note the tentative dates and places to stay ya:

By the way, while we're in Kuantan we hope to have dinner with all our lecturers, possibly malam Sabtu, 22 Disember dekat Sara Thai. The dinner, if it happens, will be on us ya kawan-kawan. Dulu-dulu diaorang belanja, sekarang turn kita plak.. :p Don't worry, akak and yati will try to work out a budget with the restaurant - it's what I've been doing at my new job.. ^^
So, do let me know what you think, or if you have other suggestions either on place, accommodation, or activities. On the accommodation, the ones listed are the cheapest family resorts I could come up with on short notice. I personally like Lembing Riverview. There are many cheap hotels in town (emphasize on cheap), but it's not at all relaxing since it's in the middle of the city. I think we all need some quiet space where we can unwind, let go and be around each other a bit, no?

My mom's favourite.
Beside cooking, my mom also like gardening.
She planted this orchid 3 years ago, and last week, this plant starts to bloom.
She is happy, but dia tak boleh tengok sendiri pokok tu. She asked me to take picture for her.
