Recently, in Saturday's paper, some scientists in Darwin, Australia announced that they might be getting closer to the cure for AIDS. It could be for real this time. It is quite an 'old' piece of news, but I was too lazy to write it up.
Apparently, crocodiles injected with HIV were able to fight it off. That means that their immune system can surpress and overcome this fatal disease. Researchers are now working on the croc's blood to find the exact protein/ molecule/ etc. that can be the very key to one of the most lethal diseases around.
